Malvern C.I. has passionate support from several organizations. Here is a list of them, and, if you choose, you can lend your support by donating financially, by volunteering, or by providing other services.

Malvern Red and Black Society:

This organization exists to “keep Malvernites in touch” and provides services such as care and maintenance of the school archives, managing a member list of over 2500 members, newsletters, e-mail updates, website (www.malverncollegiate.com), support for reunions and gatherings of Malvern alumni and others. Several other initiatives may get underway as our members get more involved and contribute their time to them.

Donations to support ongoing activity of your MRBS can be sent directly to the Malvern Red and Black Society c/o Malvern Collegiate Institute, 55 Malvern Ave., Toronto, ON M4E 3E4 or be directed to the Onward Malvern Foundation. Inquiries on ways to get involved can be sent to Vandra Masemann at president@malverncollegiate.com

Onward Malvern Foundation:

This organization exists to raise funds that are not covered in the operating budget for the current needs of the school and its students. These include items such as sports equipment or facilities, music extra-curricular, art extra-curricular, annual scholarships, exit (graduation) scholarships, as well as support for the Malvern Red and Black Society.

Malvern Home and School Council:

The Malvern Home and School Council is involved with supporting the activity and spirit of the school for the parents of its existing

students. The Council also raises funds to provide for Scholarship awards and other support for school needs and activities. Inquiries and support can be directed to Mark Greenfield at mark.greenfield@scotiabank.com or Jane Hargraft at jabar@rogers.com.

www.shopandsupport.ca:

An initiative of the Home and School Council, this is a great way to support Malvern through spending you would do anyway on groceries, home repair, gifts, dining and other regular purchases. When you order gift cards through www.shopandsupport.ca , a portion of the proceeds will be donated by the retail organization to Malvern C.I. Check out www.shopandsupport.ca and direct your purchase contributions to Malvern C.I., using the Group ID code : 0100552085.

Malvern Scholarship Fund:

This is a general fund used to provide annual and graduation scholarship awards each year to Malvern students. Inquires and donations can be sent to the Malvern Scholarship Fund, c/o Marlene Bourdon-King Malvern Collegiate Institute,  55 Malvern Ave., Toronto, ON M4E 3E4 or email  marlene.bourdon-king@tel.tdsb.on.ca.

The Boys of Malvern

This is a project to restore the war memorial statue at the front of the school which commemorates Malvernites lost in the First World War. Inquiries can be directed to Arnie Williamson at arnie_williamson@hotmail.com (note underscore  after “arnie”)and donations made through the Onward Malvern Foundation (see above).
